If H2O =water & CO2 = oxygen has names, does photosynthesis have it's own scientific name?

First, CO2 is called "carbon dioxide."
Second, these are not "scientific names," they are chemical names. Chemists need a special language to talk to each other because of all the chemicals they deal with.
Photosynthesis is a process, not a chemical, so there isn't a single "word" which means "photosynthesis." But, there is a "sentence," see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Photosynthesis_equation.svg
