I don't know if you're still checking this but decided to comment anyway. I don't see that anyone told you. Someone very close to me just got a new heart. If your heart isn't working well and the doctors say he needs a new heart, they know how to do just that. They have a special surgery where they take out the old heart and attach inside a new one, and after a while, the person is (usually) healthier than before.
hope this helps

The lungs add oxygen to the blood. Then the heart moves the blood all around the body.

The brain and other important organs need the nutrients and oxygen from blood. If they don't get enough nutrients and oxygen, the organs will die. If the brain dies, there is nothing left to do.

That's why doctors are very careful to deal with heart problems. You can switch a heart, and there are even machines that can help a heart work, but there is nothing to do for a brain that isn't working right.

That's why you should always wear a helmet when you're biking or roller-blading.

If you break a bone when you fall, the doctors can help it heal, and even replace joints or pin bones together, but if you hurt your head and your brain gets hurt, the doctors can't do almost anything to help you.
